Meet the winemaker: Laurence Alias, Closeries des Moussis (France)

Saturday November 29 - 4-6 pm Meet the winemaker Laurence Alias - Closeries des Moussis (Médoc, Bordeaux, France)

Since 2019, Laurence Alias and Pascale Choime have been cultivating the four hectares of their micro-estate in the Médoc region near Bordeaux. Laurence, an agricultural engineer, and Pascale, oenologist and former cellar master, share a common philosophy: simplicity and authenticity. Their approach is based on organic and biodynamic farming, meticulous manual labour and the use of animal traction. Here, there is no place for weedkillers or pesticides, and every intervention is carefully considered to preserve the natural balance.

Free tasting of their best red cuvée “2021” made to discover the true essence of a full body Medoc Wine (70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot). Reduced price on the bottle and on the glass that day.

Gilles and Séverine moved to Cascastel des Corbières in 1997. They immediately began working the vines organically. Since 2011, no inputs have been used in the winemaking process.

You will be able to taste some of his wines (red, rosé, sparkling). Always very easy to drink, they are also very affordable.

Meet the winemaker Leo Huppert (Terra Preta Weingut Huppert, Rheinhessen, Germany) in the shop.

He is 24 years old and very talented. Free tasting of his very special Riesling called "Risky 2021" matured three weeks in a Laphroaig whisky quarter cask. Peat and smoke from the barrel meet fresh citrus and peach notes. Unique in Berlin.
