Established on October 17, 2020 in the vibrant Graefekiez of Kreuzberg, Vinotopia moved recently (October 25) 10 minutes away to a very beautiful space, entirely renovated, in Ohlauer Strasse 2. With the concept “Bottles & Bar”, your wine shop is versatile and offers you to discover easily our selection by the glass (5 to 9€) or by the bottle (corkage fee 7€).
Vinotopia curates a collection of impeccably crafted natural wines, meticulously sourced from skilled winegrowers and makers. Our selection celebrates the essence of France and Central Europe. We know all the good people we are working with, we import their wines to offer you the best price.
We also proudly select alcohol-free alternatives, ensuring a diverse and inclusive experience for all.
About the founder
Ludo, French journalist in his forties, wanted to spread good vibes and share within a local community in Berlin the great values of natural wine. He grew up in Bordeaux, where he sipped wine for the first time, made his first harvests, then in Paris, where natural wine radically changed his approach to wine in the 2010s. He is passionate about gastronomy and cheese especially.
Our Philosophy
There's too much pressure and snobbery when it comes to wine. That's what we're trying to get rid of at Vinotopia.
We make wine simple. We don't assume that you know everything about wine. We want it to be accessible to everyone. And we refuse to turn natural wine into a wine for the elite. We don't have a thousand bottles in which to get lost. We have a small selection (50-60 wines) that is regularly renewed and we're happy to spend time with you choosing the right wine for your meal tonight.
