About the founder
Ludo is a French journalist in his forties wanted to spread the word about natural wine in Berlin. He grew up in Bordeaux, where he discovered wine and made his first harvests, then in Paris, where natural wine radically changed his approach to wine in the 2010s. He is passionate about gastronomy and cheese especially.
Our Philosophy
There's too much pressure and snobbery when it comes to wine. That's what we're trying to get rid of at Vinotopia.
We make wine simple. We don't assume that you know everything about wine. We want it to be accessible to everyone. And we refuse to turn natural wine into a wine for the elite. We don't have a thousand bottles in which to get lost. We have a small selection (50-60 wines) that is regularly renewed and we're happy to spend time with you choosing the right wine for your meal tonight.
