Do you like Whisky? Read that.

It's an excellent Riesling like I've not tasted for a long time with delicate aromas of citrus and peach. It doesn't have that high acidity characteristic of the grape variety as the summer 2021 was very hot. What is striking on the nose and even more on the palate is the smokiness and peatiness. Leo, a 24-year-old winemaker, took a small cask of Laphroaig, the famous Scotch whisky from the Isle of Islay, and used it to mature his Riesling for just a couple of weeks to give that distinctive smell and taste.

The result is a unique and highly creative wine, on offer for the first time in Berlin and it's happening at Vinotopia.
